We're offering a rare restaurant china piece from the old Peninsular Club....downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan!
Local to us, at one time...long gone! Fine dining, socialization, quiet atmosphere. This is a food cover dish! Stands approx. 2 3/4" high and 6" in diameter at the bottom. Delicate woven blue bands and the initials "PC" intertwined! More about the Peninsular Club thro Wiki-pedia! Age spots, some discolorations, scrapes from use and a few nics along the edges. These "flaws" are expected. There are some age related "spots/stains". Mainly along the edges. Crazing is present but not too severe.  A hairline crack is seen/found on both sides. (photo 2 and 5) For the rarity of the piece, this doesn't bother us much but you might not like it. When "tinged"...it rings solid. Don't expect perfection ...but if you like old porcelain restaurant ware....this is for you!
